We feel it is essential for children to feel respected and nurtured, are engaged while they are learning and playing, and always have the ability to learn important skills and knowledge. We combine all of these benefits for your child to help them positively step into the future.
The Pre-K schedule follows that of the school and can be accessed here.
All of our staff undergoes an extensive background check prior to being employed so you can have peace of mind knowing that your child is in good hands. We value each child here and ensure they are always protected.
Keeping Regular Scheduling Helps Children Create Good Life Habits
We know that when you are trying to find a Pre-K program, it can be challenging to find the right place where your child can flourish. We have experienced staff who will make sure that the environment your child attends is a healthy one. Every week, we will introduce a theme and most of our activities will center on it. We’ll also have a weekly letter and word.
Our day begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. for the full-day program, and ends at noon for the half-day program. Students may arrive any time after 8:15 a.m. with before school care being available at 7:30 a.m. and after care being available until 5 p.m. We understand not everyone has the same schedule so we try and accommodate everyone as best we can.
Pickup and Drop Off Procedures
Cars should enter the playground parking lot from Marion Street ONLY and form a line. Your child will exit the vehicle and be greeted by a staff member. You will exit the parking lot onto Clinton Street. The pickup procedure is the same but you will form two lines. Your child will be escorted to your vehicle by a staff member.
If your child is picked up at noon, please park in front of the church and pick up your child at the side door by the rectory driveway, but please do not block the driveway.
Encouraging a Sense of Community Values
From a young age, we encourage children to understand the importance of providing service in our community. Throughout their lifetime, if the children stay true to their faith, they can make a difference in their lives and the people they reach out to. Those values are steadfast and will be nourished throughout your child’s attendance at Sts. Peter and Paul School.
Making Advanced and Daily Preparations for the Children
We encourage you to send in extra clothes, including socks and underwear, to keep at school in case of an emergency. To make it easier on the staff, place clothes in a large Ziploc bag, labeled with your child’s name. We ask if your extra clothes are used, please replace them by the next day, so your child doesn’t get caught short without a clean change.
Please provide a daily snack for your child. We will provide the children with water to drink. Please make the staff aware of any allergies or food difficulties so we can ensure your child is monitored properly.
Our school has bus services available throughout the Chippewa Local School District. If the Chippewa Local School District calls a Calamity Day, we will also be closed for that period. In the event they call a two-hour delay, there will be NO Pre-K that day for our 1/2 day students.
We will be glad to answer any questions you may have about the services we offer your children. Please call us with any questions you may have at 330-658-2804. We proudly serve Doylestown, Ohio, and the surrounding area.
